I’m always reminded of all that I love in February. People, places, things, and all forms that the love comes in. All society would eventually become very dreary without the reminder of love. With that said, I give you a peek at things that would be very deserving of our love.

Since I live in a college town, and happen to be married to a college student, you’ll have to forgive my juvenile indulgences. It comes quite naturally to me at this point in my life to love pizza. Ordinary pizza, no, but something quite more substantial is my first love.

Craigo’s makes a five dollar pizza, with buffalo wing sauce. Without this sauce, it wouldn’t be any different. The tedious monotony of marinara sauce means nothing to me now that I’ve tried buffalo wing pizza, and I’ll never go back.

Being a mom, wife, and germophobe, I have come to love many different cleaning supplies that make my life faster, easier and cleaner. The most recent discovery I have made is Electrosol cleaning tablets for your dishwasher detergent. It is so effective in cleaning your dishes, but the best part is that the sweet fragrance fills your whole kitchen with sanitized delight.

Since February comes smack dab in the middle of winter, I find myself very much in love with boots. I am lucky enough to have found a boot to accommodate any situation. Furry, waterproof Staheekum snow boots; leather, knee-high, brown dress boots, and orange, cozy, knit Gap slipper boots keep my feet and legs dry and warm. Bring on the snow, I’ll look fabulous in it.

BBC revives our deepest romance with their latest adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma. BBC won my heart long ago, but this witty, sensuous, and fun love story completes February lovin’ for me. It aires on Masterpiece Theater, of better yet just buy the DVD online and watch it anytime.

Sitting on your couch, also gives you access to the wonderful world of online shopping. Finding your love’s favorite gift doesn’t require mall hopping anymore. Your fingertips can browse through all the stores in the world while you stay at home. You could buy a sewing needle, wool socks, a rosebush or even a beautiful acre of land.

Now, my dearest love is no doubt in the bedroom — the flannel sheets tucked in my bed. Forget silk, satin, or Egyptian cotton, and curl up in bed the way the sandman intended. Be prepared for worlds that can only be dreamed of while wrapped in flannel softness as you sleep.

I share these treats to you in hopes to share the love. While I find satisfaction in hoping that you will also love these things, greater satisfaction would be that you find all that you love for yourself this February. To be loved and in turn find love in anyway we can, I’m sure would make St. Valentine happy.
